First low-carbon energy storage initiative has been launched in Pakistan. The prime minister’s coordinator on climate change, Romina Khurshid Alam, was the chief guest at the initiative’s inaugural ceremony in the federal capital of Islamabad.

It was actualized by the Brillanz Group and other key stakeholders involved in developing a transformative ecosystem or sustainability and decarbonization in Pakistan.

Romina Khurshid Alam declared that Energy storage as a service (ESaaS) at an industrial scale is an emerging model, where energy storage systems are offered to customers as a service. The PM’s coordinator said the initiative represented the Pakistani government’s commitment to integrate innovative energy solutions and enhance the country’s energy infrastructure.

Pakistan is one of the most effected countries through climatic changes and needs vital steps alike to combat climate changes.
