After Pakistan’s disappointing performance in the test match against Bangladesh, the PCB chairman decided to shift the method of cricket team selection. PCB will use AI technology to choose players and replace those who are performing poorly.

He emphasized that there aren’t enough good players on the selection committee and that this calls for the proper surgical instruments.

PCB chairman said that AI will be used to select the national team for the upcoming Champions Cup. He stated 150 players have been selected; 80% of it has been done by AI (artificial intelligence), and 20% using a human selection committee for future matches.

Mohsin Naqvi is hopeful for future performances and the Champions Cup.

“The Champions Cup will end in September, and then there will be records for everyone. Anyone who isn’t performing will be immediately replaced. It shouldn’t come down to anyone’s individual opinions and wishes,” he concluded.
